Thirteenth Week
This week I have been given my work back with good feedback although I do have to change a few aspects for example: having to proof read my work and correct any mistakes, change the background for my feature page so the text is more readable.
Twelth week
This week I have finished my interview and have cropped out my selected photo. I have also added 3 photos of each of my models into the text in a circle bubble to add something to the text so it is capitivating and not just a load of text, which can be seen as boring.

This cropping process for the photo was very difficult and took me a long time to do as I had to re-do it numerous times to make sure it looked perfect. I have now handed in my 3 piece of work for marking and am eagerly antisipating my teachers reviews.
Eleventh week
This week I have almost finished my interview for my magazine. I 'm still trying to find a way to end it. It's been hard to do but I have had fun creating it using slang terminology to create versimilitude for the magazine. I have chosen this backgrounds for the feature page:
I chose this as it is the same sort of images as the black and white estate instead I have used a real life image of the London lights with the extravagant car, representing Orrin D (my models And rappers) wealth. Furthermore, I have chosen a image from the collection I took when taking my photos for my contents page for my feature page:
Tenth week
This week I have completely finished my contents page:

I personally beleive it has gone well and is very effective. I have also this week begun writing up my interview for my feature page. I am finding this difficult as I don't know where to start. Furthermore, I'am considering what background to have on my feature page and also what type of picture I will need for my feature page.
Ninth week
This week I have been trying to put polaroid pictures on my contents page there has been alot of trial and tribulation. However, evenually I have managed to find a software which automatically transfers normal pictures and puts them into polaroid form. I have used a scattering of polaroid pictures which is different to other magazine contents pages and I feel it is very effective way of using a range of shot types with the images I have put on my magazine. I have used: Close ups, Low angle shots andMid shots . I have also wrote captions on the polaroids I did this by scanning my own handwriting onto the computer and inserting it into 'Indesign'.

Eighth week
This week I have been busy taking pictures of more models for my contents page. I have shortlisted my pictures from a wide range of pictures .
I haven't decided on a picture for my contents page as of yet but I do have an idea in my head of what I would like to do that will allow my contents page stand out but it will require some creativity and trial and error. I am going to try and use polariod pictures to convey my pictures in a diverse way than the normal pictures. Here are a few of the pictures which I have shortlisted:

Seventh week
This week after finshing my front cover I have started on my contents page. I have written out my page number and what will be featuring on each page using captions. Basically following the conventions of a traditional magazine:

I have put my title on the contents page to show continuity flowing through the magazine production. Furthermore, I have also used the same background as I used on my front cover again to add the continuity factor to my magazine production so it looks professional.

Sixth week
This week I have my front cover of my magazine finished completely. I have added more to it from last week I have corrected the text as there were a few mistakes and overall I think my magazine has changed for the better and has come out more professional with the additional changes I have made. I have added an extra 3 pictures to the magazine to convey what else will be featuring in the magazine. Aswell as put on the finishing touches to the magazine like price, bar code and date:

Fifth week
This week after careful deliberation I have decided to keep the picture but after reviews from peers and teachers I have decided to scrap the yellow paint splashes and the estate background because my teachers said it didn't really fit the genre so I have decided to go with a more neurtral background for the front cover. I have decided to go with metal floor texture as it still I feel represents the streets and the rough and tough approach of the street "down to the metal".
Also I have changed the form of the title of the magazine as I feel it wasn't standing out enough.

The yellow text with pink background I feel go well and are appealing and eye catching to people looking at the magazine.I have also added text to the magazine of what I will be featuring in the magazine for example other artists and events etc:
Fourth Week
This week I have picked a picture for the front cover:
I have chosen this picture because it is a picture of a business like rapper such as 50 cent which I want on my magazine as it reflects how Hip Hop is progressing, for instance:
This shows 50 Cent in a suit using this I have decided to make my model dress in a similar code.
Also, I have decided on a background for my magaizne and I have decided on a block of flats in a black and white form. I have chose this background because it reflects my model as king of the street I feel this fits in well as it is an english artist and you often see pictures of american artist with the city like towers in the pictures so I have drawn inspiration from that.
I have finally developed the skill of croping out pictures using the draw tool aswell as inserting pictures and creating layers.

Third week
This week I have got a clear layout in my head of what I would like my magazine to look like and have decided on a yellow and black scheme for the frontcover which I feel will be bright enough to attract a hip hop audience by grabbing them at first glance if it were on a shelf. I have also decided on the font of 'Varsity Regulae' which is a big font which again will attract people and a font which is used on the professional magazines. With this in mind I have begun writing out what I would like on my magazine and how I would liek it to be conveyed on the magazine cover.
I am yet to put the picture on my Front cover which I feel will be suitable due to the fact that I am finding it difficult to crop out a picture and still undecided whether or not the picture I feel suitable is actually good enough for the magazine.

Second week
This week I have decided to change my model of who will feature on my front cover as the person I was using previously was hard to get hold of and was a difficulty I would be encountering too often. Futhermore, the resolution of the camera I was using previously wasn't good enough and didn't look professtional. Therfore, now I have taken new pictures with a camera with a better resolution allowing a professional look to the images. Within these pictures I have taken some which I feel will be useful for the different pages in the magazine these being a vary in shots for example: long shots, mid shots, close ups etc.
I have shortlisted it down to 3 main pictures for each page for my front cover, contents and feature page and I'm happy with the results.

First week
This is the first week of production for my final product but by using the planning I conducted before using powerpoint. Which enabled me to decide what music genre I wanted to use for my magazine.
Besides this, this week I have choose the name "Rappers Delight" which I feel is a very suitable title for my magazine considering and so do the people that have taken the time to fill in my questionnaire as it is fits the Hip Hop Genre. I have also this week picked a model who I will be taking pictures of to feature on the magazine.
